Travelocademy is a travel and tourism training institute in Delhi. We started in 2016 with a simple goal: get students into actual jobs in the travel industry, not just hand them a certificate. Since then we’ve trained over 2,500 students through our classroom and online programs, and more than 200 of our graduates, who we call Travelocadians, now work in travel roles outside India.
Here’s what we actually teach. Travel and tourism hiring comes down to whether you can operate the tools the industry runs on, so our training is hands-on with live Global Distribution Systems, including Amadeus and GDS booking, air ticketing, fare construction, and reissues, alongside the IATA fundamentals that agencies and airlines expect. Because employers abroad and at premium agencies need strong communication, we build spoken English and foreign-language training into the course rather than treating it as an add-on. Our trainers are IATA-certified and have worked in the field, so what you practice in class is what the job asks for on day one.
A few things that genuinely set us apart:
- You train on real systems, not slides about them. Every student gets live practice on GDS software and runs through the kind of bookings, schedule changes, and queries a working agent handles daily.
- We don’t stop at the certificate. Through our hiring partners we help graduates interview and place into companies like IndiGo, Air India, Expedia, MakeMyTrip, and Lufthansa.
- The classroom is only half of it. Workshops, industry guest sessions, language practice, and interview prep run alongside the core syllabus so you graduate confident, not just qualified.
